    It all began with Sound Petroleum, a family-owned company selling oil on the Connecticut shoreline. Our fleet was small, but our passion was bright. We strived for quality service and a reputation for greatness.

    Soon, a second company was born under the same ownership, bringing on newly available propane service. The companies merged to form what is now Quality Propane. Today, Sound Petroleum serves as our sister company.

    With Quality Propane's rapid growth, a change was on the horizon. We opened a second location in North Stonington to expand our service area to all of Rhode Island. Together, we help customers across Connecticut and Rhode Island experience our unparalleled dedication.

    Quality Propane has a continually growing fleet of over 50 vehicles from delivery to service and employs more than 40 exceptionally talented and hard working individuals.
